About Us
I'm just a regular guy who is obsessed with basketball. I have a 16 year old son who has played ball since he could walk. He currently plays on the Varsity team at his high school and continues to strengthen his skills and gain experience when school ball ends, by playing highly-competitive select ball. Last year his team played at Nationals in Florida.
I have a 14 year old daughter who also plays, but with a little less passion :-) for the sport than I would like.
I have coached recreational and select ball and see basketball as a great opportunity to grow strong, intelligent and team-oriented kids. I also believe that with enough practice and passion, basketball can help defray college costs with partial and full ride scholarships.
When we moved to Texas 4 years ago, I found it incredibly difficult to make contacts that I had slowly forged while living in Seattle for the past 15 years. I became frustrated by the lack of consolidated information and felt that other parents could benefit from what I've learned.
